Our Board provides strategic leadership and oversight, ensuring the organisation remains focused on its purpose while responding to the changing needs of our community.
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer and leadership team, the Board helps guide long-term planning, financial sustainability, organisational performance and community impact.

A year of connection, learning and belonging
Throughout 2024/25, that belief continued to shape the way we worked — creating practical opportunities for people to participate in community, build connections, develop confidence and pursue what matters to them.
Our achievements to date
Stronger governance and accountability — strengthened governance structures, financial controls and organisational oversight, supported by a refreshed Board and leadership team.
Improved financial sustainability — returned to an operating surplus in 2024–25.
Growing community participation — increased participation across pre-accredited learning, social connection groups and outreach programs, alongside growth in volunteers and student placements.
Greater reach and accessibility — expanded delivery beyond our centre through public housing outreach, community partnerships and online learning, helping us reach people who may otherwise experience barriers to participation.
More diverse and responsive programs — continued to broaden our learning, creative, wellbeing and social programs in response to changing community needs.
Stronger strategic partnerships — expanded collaboration with government, community organisations, local businesses and service providers to increase our reach and community impact.
A stronger platform for future growth — long-term strategic planning, renewed leadership and stronger organisational foundations have positioned Prahran Place for sustainable growth and continued community impact.
